100 Artists Stand With Haiti: art sale at The Oxbow (Northampton, MA)

I just donated some art. Some of my miniature encaustic paintings will be for sale along with a bunch of other art donated by other local artists this Sunday, February 28 at The Oxbow Gallery in Northampton, MA. My pal Mark donated the piece pictured above. All the art is valued at a minimum of $100–the price of a ticket that will get you an original artwork–and all the proceeds go directly to charity! Last I heard, most of the 100 tickets had been sold but there were still some remaining. Details after the jump!
Time: February 28, 2010 from 5pm to 7pm
Location: Oxbow Gallery
275 Pleasant St
Northampton, MA 01060

The Oxbow Gallery, an artist run cooperative gallery at 265 Pleasant Street in Northampton, is hosting a fundraiser event to benefit Partners in Health in Haiti. We expect to show 100 original works of art by local artists, several from Holyoke, valued at over $100.00. We plan to sell 100, $100.00 tickets to the event which will be held on Sunday evening February 28th from 5-8pm. Ticket holders will choose a work of art in a randomly selected order. If we sell all the tickets we will be able to send $10,000.00 to Partners in Health, Haiti. Tickets are available at the Oxbow Gallery, Broadside Books, and Food for Thought Books. Thanks to Paper City Brewery and River Valley Market for donating beer, food and wine.
